Mousepad
Oner's pad is the Logitech G640 Black, in use since November 2025. It is a cloth surface with a 3 mm base and no stitched edges.
The friction numbers are all in the middle: medium overall glide, medium static friction and medium dynamic friction. Combined with firm foam, this is a balanced surface rather than an extreme speed or control pad.
At 45.5 cm by 40 cm, it gives the 12.5 cm long G Pro Wireless a roomy surface to sit on.

Mouse settings
The G Pro Wireless uses the HERO sensor, which covers 100 to 16000 DPI in steps of 50. That granularity means any DPI value can be matched closely when you set up your own sensitivity.
Polling rate can be set to 125, 250, 500 or 1000 Hz. The 1000 Hz option is the ceiling on this model.
Should you buy Oner's mouse?
The G Pro Wireless is an ambidextrous mouse that measures 12.5 cm long, 6.3 cm wide and 6.3 cm high, and weighs 81 g. It is the tallest of the mice compared here. It is worth considering if you want a symmetrical shape with a fairly full height and a wireless connection. It is available to buy.
The alternatives each trade something away:
- Pulsar STA-X: 21 g lighter, and 0.1 cm shorter, narrower and lower. It is wireless with a polling rate of 8000, against 1000 on the G Pro Wireless. It is the lightest mouse in this comparison at 60 g.
- ZOWIE FK1-C: 4 g lighter and 0.4 cm longer, with the same width. It is 2.4 cm lower, which makes it the lowest mouse here at 3.9 cm. It is wired.
- ZOWIE S1: 6 g heavier, 0.2 cm shorter and 0.2 cm narrower, and 2.3 cm lower. It is the shortest and narrowest mouse in this comparison. It is wired.
If you want to keep the cable-free setup, the STA-X is the wireless alternative, and it is much lighter. If a lower profile matters more than wireless, the two ZOWIE models are the ones to look at.
